Nestle Crunch Crisp
I may not get another one in this weekend. I’m in New Jersey, visiting my sister. I did get some goodies from Atlantic City that look like good review material, but that whole photographing thing has slowed the process down a bit. I also have some items from the Indiana State Fair that I haven’t taken pictures of yet. I’m being a bit of a lazybones.
Crunch Crisp is sort of like a hybrid of KitKat and a Crunch bar. It’s a substantial bar, wide and long, with three wafers. They’re sandwiched together with chocolate creme, with Crunch on top, then the whole thing is covered with a thin layer of more chocolate. The wafers had a malt flavor, which is always a plus in my book, and they’re thick enough to make for a satisfying crunch. It is, of course, sweet, as all such bars are. It’s a good variation of an old favorite.
SCORE: 7 out of 10
Purchased at: Kroger
Price: .69

August 24th, 2007 at 9:23 pmIt is quite good. I used to have a sidebar that explained my rating system, but lost it when I switched systems. I should find a way to put it back up again. Seven is a very respectable score for a mass-market bar like this. I hope it become more mass-market, I liked it. I got mine at Kroger. There’s nothing indicating a limited run, which is sometimes a title used for test run candy. I think I liked them better than a regular Crunch bar, and I really like Crunch bars.
